Feed Mill Manager – Tanzania
Reporting to the General Manager, the Mill Manager will manage the operations of the animal feed mill business to meet the expectations and objectives of the organisation
They will supervise and oversee all employees, including training and safe operations to ensure that all activities are conducted in keeping with the best practices for operations, documentation, and safety requirements.
Reporting monthly to the General Manager on the performances of the mill and operations, including power consumption, volumes produced, feed varieties produced, head count per ton, overtime, etc.
- Manage and organize the production of animal feed pursuant to individual and business objectives
- Effectively plan and manage the procurement, warehousing, production etc for the feed mill.
The ideal candidate will have a deep experience in feed milling development and operations with at least ten (10) years of relevant experience in the development and operations of animal feed mills in emerging markets. We are looking for applied skills in developing, operating and growing the animal feed business. Experience within other food production industries, including poultry, fish farming and the flour milling sector is also desirable. .
