Finance Director(designate)  – Lagos, Nigeria

My client is a  respected and well established FMCG manufacturing organisation who produce a variety of consumer products and who have several manufacturing plants and divisions across Lagos.

They currently need to recruit a Head of Finance (Finance Director) to take over the helm of this large finance team. Ideally you will be a qualified accountant with at least 5 to 10 years experience as a FD/FC in a similar manufacturing organisation. Fundamental to this position is the relationship that you will form with the Managing Director  providing leadership and advice to support the business going forward.

Its vitally important that the successful candidate has sound experience within manufacturing and that the basic principals of costing and production have been understood and exercised thoroughly during their career.

This position has the full accounting responsibility including treasury, tax, regulatory and cash flow. You will get involved in all functions including group taxation, payroll, and staff management. You will also work closely with the auditors and bankers ensuring that accounting policies and guidelines are adhered to.
