General Manager

My client is an international poultry producer who operate and produce chickens for the market in Rwanda and East Africa. They currently need a General Manager to operate and manage the business, this a No1 position and as such you will have total responsibility for the site of around 100 employees.

The site consists of breeders, hatchery, broilers and a meat processing plant with total output of around 10,000 a week and a hatchery capacity of around 120,000 per week.  Your role will be to manage the site and ensure smooth running of the plant including its P&L and balance sheet. You will have responsibility for commercial decisions and the direction of the business. For this role I’m looking for an experienced Expat who has management responsibility at the GM level in poultry production.
