Group Maintenance Manager

My client is a large flour milling and pasta manufacturing organisation that operates in East Africa.

They are currently looking for a Group Maintenance Manager to manage several plants and to manage a large team of maintenance managers, production managers and mechanical and electrical engineers.

The importance of the role and ability to implement lean manufacturing techniques such as Six Sigma is paramount. Your role will be to implement continuous improvement systems and change ensuring that the organisation is at the front of preventative measures and agile techniques. You will be at the forefront of quality and standards ensuring  policies and procedures are kept at the highest level.

This role also includes maintenance of buildings, utilities, water systems, stores roadways etc.

Ideally I’m looking for someone with a minimum of 10 year’s experience as Plant engineer/maintenance Manager with a large Blue-chip FMCG Enterprises aligned with Global HSE, ISO Kaizen or 6 Sigma in Milling, Baking, Pasta manufacturing plants.
