Milling Technical – Vienna, Austria

Are you an experienced miller with a technical and all-round business savvy background? Well, I have a role that might suit you. I’m looking for a Technical Miller who can use their experience to provide a technical support role to a number of mills situated in Eastern Europe. You’ll be using your milling, mechanical and electrical business acumen to solve problems and issues and at the same time constantly looking to improve the operations. 

Based in Austria your role will encompass a number of Eastern European  countries and mills, English speaking you will have multiple site experience in a senior leadership flour milling role. Ideally qualified within Swiss (SMS), Buhler, BMSB or NABIM you will have sound and solid knowledge of milling production, material handling and lean manufacturing experience.

Every day and week will be different, you could be assessing with training of staff, putting together technical recommendations or helping out with calibration issues. Similarly, you could find yourself advising the local MD’s on how to improve the production of flour or how to operate the plant more effectively. You’ll be communicating with engineers, mechanics, electricians, MD’s and General Managers, therefore how you communicate and your ability to get things done in the right way will be paramount.
